what an epoch is

An epoch is one run up the ladder. It starts at 0.01 SOL and ends the moment a step has gone twenty four hours without being covered: the keeper then spends the whole bank in one last buy and burn, writes ACC e<n> COLLAPSE <SOL> on chain, and the next epoch starts again at 0.01 SOL.

Nothing carries over. The only thing an epoch leaves behind is the record above and the burned supply, which never comes back.

The keeper buys on the open market like anybody else and burns what it buys. There is no mint, no tax and no allowlist.
